Green Camp Summer Applications

YOUth + SCIENCE = AWESOME!

Green Camp is a FREE summer program that provides students with hands-on learning in relation to the topics of storm water pollution and abatement, chemical and biological water testing, environmental issues, sustainability, urban development, and environmental engineering. The City of Memphis Storm Water Department invites students entering and currently attending high school to participate in our Green Camp Environmental Academic Enrichment Program! Green Camp is scheduled for the week of July 13 through July 17, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Students will attend 5 classes over the week (Monday through Friday) and must be prepared for a full 7 hours each day. Applications are due on May 15, 2026 and confirmation correspondence will be sent by May 22, 2026. Applications will be approved on a “first-received-first confirmed” basis with enough space for only 13 participants.

Again, there is no cost to participate in Green Camp. Boxed lunches will be provided daily! And by participating in the program, students will receive a Certificate of Participation with up to 35 hours of community service credits. To receive the full 35 hours of community service hours, students must fully participate each day.
